Hey Phil, I'm a huge admirer of yoursand the Iron Radio podcast. It's nice to discover your blog. How much rest do you take between your pull-up ladder sets, may I ask?
Thank you glad I / we can help you and others out.
Thats really hard to say as I dont gauge rest in about anythign I do, My Saturdays are pure assistance work. I am doing my OH pressing and pull ups while also coaching my wife and others.
So at times rest can be long and others a bit rushed all In care about is getting the work in. Punching that clock. On these I just do a set of pull ups for every set of presses I do. s the early ones have some pretty short rest as this is usually where the others are getting warmed up as well as my sets get heavier theirs do as well so rest gets longer it works out.
I can tell you on this session the total time was about 60 minutes so if we just tried to average that out your looking at 5 minutes between each set of pull ups with a set of presses placed between.
again I dont come in with any real goal that day except pressing and pull ups and taking whats there and mix it up, like last week I just decided I am going to do 100 reps of pull ups. so i just did sets until I got that. Its worked for me and given me the ability to always be able to knock out 15-20 pull ups at a body weight between 250 and 280. Not crazy but not to bad in the grand scheme of things

ANY choice or goal has negatives and positives, accept them and move on. I don’t want to hear your bitching about your life, you picked your own path, if you don’t like it change it.
The only thing we can truly control is ourselves. Pass on, educate, and lead by example.
Live life for the real stuff, not a bunch of "You Shoulds". Find out what you love, what you enjoy, and LIVE this life. It Very well could be the only one you get so don’t waste it, Live it. The only thing you might be able to keep is the memories from the experiences you took the chance to take part in.
Id rather live 100 years worth of like in 50 years then live to be 100 and only live 50 of them.
I DID It Folks
