Unfortunately, I only know the answer to Question 2, but can give a very extensive answer. The silver medal was won by the Norweigans (who lost out to the home team) with the Swiss getting the bronze. The Norweigan silver was one of 8 won during Vancouver, the other seven being in the Men's 10k Sprint Biathlon, Men's Downhill, Men's 20k Indivdual Bialthon (shared with Belarus), Men's Giant Slalom, Women's Ski Cross, Men's 4 x 10k Cross Country Relay and the Women's 30k Cross Country Mass Start.
